Virtua Tennis 2009 For Wii May Support WiiMotion Plus

There’s a rumor going around on Joystiq that suggests Virtua Tennis 2009 for the Wii will support the upcoming WiiMotion Plus. The WiiMotion Plus is said to increase the sensitivity to motion, allowing for more accurate controls.

According to the rumor, “the game will be among the first third-party titles to support the new controller tech, which promises to boost the Wii remote’s sensitivity to motion.”

We’ll have to wait and see if this is true and if it would really work. To me, having more realistic controls, such as one-to-one motion, would just complicate a tennis game on the Wii. Whatever happens with the WiiMotion Plus, we’re interested to see what Nintendo is willing to do with it.
