Lara Croft Movie Makeover Ahead

Lara Croft has been hard at work lately. She’s being re-worked in video games, and now on the big screen as well. As posted on MTV Multiplayer, the The Hollywood Reporter and producer Dan Lin are working to “give the pistol packing heroine a new franchise”.

It is also said that Megan Fox is unlikely to star in the new Tomb Raider franchise. Angelina Jolie starred in the past movies, which all did surprisingly well, having the first movie come in at $275 million worldwide and “The Cradle of Life” at $157 million.

Why wouldn’t they take one of the Lara Croft models and have one of them star in the new movies? It would have the same level of acting as the games! Maybe that was a poor joke?

Either way, I’m interested to see what the new franchise will bring.
