E3 2009 “Revamping”, Debuts Exhibitor List

E3 has gone under a number of changes within the past few years. No more booth babes, cutting out access to the public, sizing down, relocating. There were many rumors that E3 2009 would never happen, since it seemed interest in the expo was dwindling. Gaming journalists were searching for what would be the new E3. Would it be PAX, TGS, E for All? Well as it turns out the “new E3″ will be a new E3.

This year E3 will run from June 2-4 in the Los Angeles Convention Center. Not only will the public be allowed back in, but companies that withdrew from the ESA, such as Activision Blizzard, will be able to return to the exhibit.

E3 has taken a lot of criticism for scaling back so much in the past, but it seems to be making up for it this year with a nice list of exhibitors and an expanded show floor.
